What have been your learning highlights this term?

My highlights this year is learning how to play touch rugby and learning to help other because it is a care thing to do and they become your friends sometimes.

What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 2? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?

My learner profile goal for term 2 was to manage myself in my learning and to get my work done on time.I think I have on track with my learning.My new goal is to not talk to others whlie I am doing my work.

If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far?

I don’t really know but I think I am on track with my learning but need to work harder with maths.

As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon?

I will like to improve with my maths learning and learn more about it.

Term 2 Reflection 2015

Backward-Looking:

What have been your learning highlights this term?

Moving up a level on reading was one of my highlights.That was a big highlight for me because that was one of my goals. I also liked  learning tricks for netball.I like learning things for netball because I enjoy playing it and because I may not be so good at it but I have a big dream to become a netball star.

My learner profile goal was to get my self directed work done on my planner on time.My goal is new now because I am getting lots of stuff on my planner done.I think I am on track and I have meet my goal too.

If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far?

I think I would say that I am on track for reading and where I should me.I am also on track for my writing and where I should me.That is a big charge for me because my learning is so important for me.

As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon?

I think I will like to improve upon is that to sit next to someone I will not talk to.Someone I can work well with so I can get my work done on time.

Term 2 Week 1

WHAT:In McCahon Class this week we are learning all about WW1 and ANZAC.We for been learning how they live and what they eat and why they are doing a war.We have also learned the ANZAC stand for.


SO WHAT:It makes me think about it and makes me what to learn more about it.I can also now help my friend and family understand what WW1 is and the cool facts that I have learned.I can also tell them about ANZAC.


NOW WHAT:I can now use this important facts in my writing. And help people understand what the big and new and different words mean.I can also use the facts in my test our writing

Jasman's Week 8 Reflection

What?This week I have been learning what the author is thinking and reading a story called Enemy Pie. The main purpose the author wrote was that friends are important. 

So what?:It helps to understand what the author is thinking. We can understand the text and the point of view beyond surface features of the story.This story getting me thinking about how other people need help making friends. 

Now what? I can use this when I and doing reading or a reading test it will help me make friends..It will also help me with my learning in my personal life and my school life.
